As much of the nation grieves the mass shooting in Las Vegas, a Rochester country music station is sharing its reaction from inside the country music community.
Quick Country 96.5 radio personalities Curt St. John, Samm Adams, and 'Afternoons with Val' say they've had callers express anger, grief and sadness.
Along with their viewers, the radio hosts say the tragedy has also left them with a wide range of emotions, but they're ultimately at a lost for words.
"You're horrified. You're saddened," said Curt St. John. "You're angered that somebody could do this. At any of these events this is the place you want to go to forget about the troubles of the day and have fun and now it just comes rushing in there too and it's just unspeakable."
"I was absolutely heartbroken to hear the news and then mad because you try and figure out why? Why are people doing this? You're dumbfounded," said Samm Adams. "You sit there and question what's going on with this world and honestly...speechless."
Quick country says it's heard from a number of listeners saying they hope to support the families of the victims.
