Today's consistent and occasionally heavy rain has made this spring the wettest on record in Rochester. We've received nearly 2.50" of rain today (more in places west and southwest of Rochester) and are nearing 16" of precipitation since March 1st. Scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible through this evening and a few more may pop up tomorrow morning, otherwise we should catch a short break and get a warm up Saturday afternoon with highs in the 80s. Sunday will be warm, gusty, and humid, and thunderstorms, possibly severe, are likely Sunday through Monday. Stay tuned to the latest headlines and keep an eye on radar through the weekend. We have an app for that.
