"Minor thermal incident" deemed cause of McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing fire
DODGE CENTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -
Firefighters in Dodge Center rush to a fire alarm at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing.
A company spokesperson says there was a "minor thermal incident" at the plant. No one was taken to the hospital but some were treated for smoke inhalation. Other McNeilus employees on site went into their emergency response plan.
According to Dodge County Sheriff's Office Captain Ryer Anderson, the fire was contained to a McNeilus truck and paint booth.
Katie Hoxtell of parent company Oshkosh Corporation says the plant's suppression system activated as it was supposed to.
Full production has resumed at McNeilus.
