Woman arrested after sheriff's office says she broke into an Oronoco house
ORONOCO, Minn. (FOX 47) -
A Pine Island woman is arrested in Goodhue County after allegedly breaking into a home in Oronoco.
According to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Barbara Larson was arrested after homeowners returned from breakfast to find her in their home late Saturday morning. Authorities believe she got into the home through a broken window. It happened on the 1100 block of Riverwood Drive Southwest.
The homeowners say Larson was attempting to take prescription drugs, jewelry, and silver collector coins. The homeowners tried to stop Larson, but she pushed past them and drove away. She was later arrested.
The sheriff's office says Larson was already wanted in relation to a passport theft.
