Taking a journey back in time has been one man's mission in Spring Valley, and for the second year in a row, that's what the downtown area looked like.
The second "Fins and Films" event showcases the town's history, drawing off their former drive-in movie theater.
With dirt drags, a car show and drive-in films, attendees get to see how Spring Valley would have looked between 1933 and 1988.
The event's founder wanted to do this so he could bring the town he once knew back to life.
"Downtown, whenever I left Spring Valley, downtown was packed, it was hard to find a vacant store front. When I came back, it wasn't so much. With the amount of traffic we have on 63, I didn't see any reason why we couldn't have a car show and have a large draw," said Fins and Films Founder, Greg Melartin.
This years event has already doubled in size from last year and Melartin hopes to keep it growing in the future.
Culminating the night's festivities was a showing of "American Graffiti" at sunset.
