Four communities in Southeast Minnesota head to the polls Tuesday, deciding on whether to approve millions of dollars in renovations for schools and other facilities.

In Albert Lea, the district wants a $24 million bond referendum to pass. It would update the Hammer Field complex, along with Halverson Elementary and Albert Lea High Schools. The superintendent says a tax is coming off the books this year, so residents wouldn't see an increase in their taxes.

In Spring Valley, the Kingsland district looks to pass a $8 million project that would build an addition for performing arts and a gym.

Elsewhere, Goodhue voters will approve or deny a $30 million renovation request.

The City of Eyota wants its residents to sign-off on an expansion for the Fire Hall.

All polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
