Sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves; our mental and physical well-being.
And sometimes it's hard to find time to research and find ways to live better. That is where Winona Health steps in to help you treat yourself in different ways.
Winona Health along with area partners hosted a free event called Way to Wellness at Winona Senior High School. It's an event to help you find inspiration and information about healthy living and eating for yourself and loved ones.
The annual event included different seminars and activities, like yoga, dancing, zumba and cooking demonstrations to celebrate health and wellness.
"Wellness is so important. And now we're kind of heading into Spring so people are getting up and getting active, and we want to give them all the tools and resources about how to eat healthy and feel their best," said Winona Health Development & Event Coordinator Emily Hoff. "And this is a great event because we can get so many different resources together and people can get all their mental and physical health and wellness all covered in one spot."
Another one of the activities was a Red Cross blood drive.
Hoff said if you take care of your mental and physical health you will feel better and happier, and be able to live life to the fullest.
