Not everyone is tired of the snow in Minnesota: some people in Rochester are embracing it.
Quarry Hill Nature Center offered a program for families Sunday afternoon called "It's Snow Crazy."
Kids could make maple syrup taffy, play with ice bubbles, and try their hand at ice bowling.
They could also learn to play Snow Snakes, a traditional Native American game.
The nature center also offers snowshoe and cross country ski rentals throughout the winter season.
"I think it's just an opportunity to be outside, to just really get outside, bundle up and just have fun together as a family," said Pam Meyer, Executive Director of Quarry Hill. "To go for a hike when they're done, today's probably one of our best ski and snowshoeing days we've seen all season so you can see there's a lot of people out skiing and snowshoeing too."
"It's Snow Crazy" is an official Rochester Winterfest event, which runs through February 18th.
