UPDATE: Minnesota State Patrol release the names of the people involved in a crash near Oronoco.
According to the State Patrol, the driver of the car was 33-year-old Jordan Grenell, of Rochester. Also in the car was a baby boy. MSP did not release how old the child was.
The driver of the semi was 38-year-old Michael Gordey, of Cloquet.
State Patrol says Grenell and the child were taken to Mayo Clinic - Saint Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A man was airlifted to the hospital.. after crashing into the back of a semi-truck this morning. It happened on Highway 52.
Sergeant Troy Christianson with Minnesota State Patrol says a southbound car slammed into the back of a semi-truck near Oronoco just after 9 this morning.
Christianson says Mayo One was called to the scene and transported the male driver of the car to Mayo Clinic - Saint Marys Hospital.
An infant in the back of the car was also taken to Saint Marys by Gold Cross ambulance.
Neither injury is expected to be life-threatening
The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
The State Patrol is looking into what caused this crash.
