Cold weather isn't keeping Rochester joggers from raising money for a good cause.
People took the opportunity to run at University Center at RCTC for the 16th Annual Frozen Goose Walk-Run Saturday. The 5-k run/walk kicked off at one in the afternoon. Proceeds from the event benefit childhood cancer research at the Mayo Clinic and the family support group 'Brighter Tomorrows'.
The event was organized by the Optimist Club of Rochester. Group leaders say 75 people participated in the race, and around 7-thousand-dollars was raised.
