Friday was a very busy day at Rochester Central Lutheran School, where kids ran laps around the gym to raise funds for RCLS scholarships, but the fun didn't stop there.
All week long the kids collected pledges for an All Glow Fun Run in an effort to raise $12,000 for the RCLS scholarship fund.
The students successfully met their goal and to celebrate, they got to slime the principal and five teachers.
"I'm expecting that its going to be messy, and it's going to be disgusting, fun, awesome, and there's going to be a lot of noise because the kids are going to go crazy," said Technology and Math teacher Corey Nelson.
All week long, the excitement has been building for students to have the chance to see their teachers and principal get slimed.
"I'm definitely excited to see Mr. Nelson get slimed, just because it's fun to joke around with him, and he's funny," said RCLS 8th grader Emily Yang. "It's just kind of fun because he always messes around with his students, so it's just fun to see him get slimed, and also the principal just because it's something different."
When it came time to be slimed, one teacher made the decision to go for it without her protective poncho.
"I decided I'm going to go all out, because I'm all in for Rochester Central Lutheran School," said RCLS 3rd Grade teacher, Jill Wooten.
Based on what was gathered from teachers Friday afternoon, no one was quite sure what exact ingredients were in the slime, but it's rumored to contain food coloring and/or jello.
