A woman was stabbed in the hand outside a Rochester school building Wednesday.
The scare put the Hawthorne Learning Center on lockdown.
It happened at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday when 26-year-old Wade Smith IV of Rochester arrived at Hawthorne Learning Center looking for a woman that is a student there.
The office called the woman to meet him, and Smith told her that he needed a ride.
Though Smith was reportedly intoxicated, the two then walked outside toward the parking lot.
