As part of a charity campaign called "10 Days of Giving," one man's collection is combining a lifelong hobby while also lending a helping hand to the residents of Winona.
The collection is called 'Snow Village,' which is a group of hundreds of small replica buildings spanning five display rooms.
Gary and Ellen Evans started it in the mid 1970s.
Admission to see Snow Village only requires a non-perishable food item or a monetary donation, for the Food Shelf in Winona.
"The first few years were pretty benign, one piece a year and then of course everything got out of control and now you see five rooms of it. Since it's for 10 days of giving and the Winona Food Shelf, it's a great effort I think," collector Gary Evans said.
You can view the Snow Village on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
