The two-year registered nursing program at Minnesota State College Southeast is ending.
The announcement today says students currently in the program will be able to complete their degrees, but the school will not be admitting any new students.
Classes will not be offered beyond the end of the spring 2019 semester.
MSC Southeast says the decision to suspend the program came because it had not been meeting Minnesota Board of Nursing standards, which require at least 75% of students pass the licensing exam on their first attempt.
The schools one-year practical nursing program is not affected by this suspension.
