One person is arrested after a victim says a man threatened to kill her with a kitchen knife.

According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were called around 5:30 p.m. on Monday to 400 19th Avenue Southwest for a domestic assault after a 57-year-old woman had fled her home to call 9-1-1. The victim told police that 26-year-old Sean Daly, of Rochester, had pulled a big kitchen knife on her and threatened to kill her.

When police arrived to the home, they set up for a standoff but soon realized that Daly had ran out the back of the house.

While officers searched for Daly, they were able to get a hold of him on his phone and convince him to turn himself in.

Daly faces 2nd Degree Assault with Dangerous Weapon charge, plus a Terroristic Threats charge.

RPD also said Daly had a warrant out for another domestic incident involving a different victim.
