Frustrations are rising between people living near Chateau Circle and the developers planning to change the neighborhood.
An ongoing battle for several years that's seen numerous changes to the proposed development of this area.
Originally designed to be a small strip center with one drug store, one restaurant, low intensity specialty retail and office spaces.
Now the developer's plans include five sit down and fast food restaurants, in addition to an urgent care and the already under construction bank.
Neighbors in the area say they've been betrayed by the developers because they declared how much they could handle in that area, but the developers keep changing their words.
"Initially the developers said well you'll want this language...you'll want this special development language because you can hold us to it. Now we hold them to it and it's too strict..it's too rigid..we have to change it.. we have to loosen it up and that is frustrating," said Barbara Virnig, a neighborhood resident.
Tonight, there was a meeting at Sunset Terrace Elementary School for neighbors and developers to once again discuss how they should develop the area.
There will also be another planning and zoning meeting on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers.
