ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -
A fight between former friends in Northwest Rochester ends with a shot fired, and two arrested.
According to Rochester police, officers were called to a home on the 400 Block of 14th Street Northwest just after 1 a.m.
There they learned, two Rochester brothers had apparently arrived to the home of a 23-year-old Rochester man a bit earlier. One of the brothers, 24-year-old Shawn Watson, and the homeowner had been friends at one point, but allegedly had a falling out.
When the brothers arrived, the 23-year-old and his friend came out to confront them, and an argument began.
According to witnesses, 28-year-old Chris Watson pulled out a gun and pointed it at the head of his brother's former friend. Police said, at some point a shot was fired, but no one was hit.
After interviewing witnesses, the officers then began a search for the two brothers. Officers learned that the two took off in a vehicle, but had apparently parked it and ran away. The two were found just a few blocks away and arrested.
Both men face 2nd Degree Assault charges, plus Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Terroristic Threats charges.
