Two arrested on drug charges after authorities put surveillance on storage locker
ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -
Two wanted people are arrested after authorities put surveillance on a storage locker.
According to the Rochester police, Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) was doing surveillance on a storage unit at 2900 South Broadway, Rochester, on Wednesday when they saw Brian Vangrevenhof, 38, come up to the unit. Vangrevenhof is wanted for a domestic assault from a couple days ago and police know he has a drug history.
Authorities also notice that along with Vangrevenhof, is Lisa Phillips, who is wanted for failing to appear for sentencing.
Half of the CIU team then followed Phillips into the nearby Wendy's and arrested her. While searching her, authorities found an ounce of Meth.
The second half of the CIU team arrested Vangrevenhof. Authorities then obtained a warrant for the storage unit and inside found evidence of sales of Meth and little bit of Meth.
Both are facing 1st Degree Sales of Meth charges.
The whole surveillance operation lasted from mid-morning to 3 p.m.
