If you're driving through Southeastern Minnesota this week, keep your eyes open for a man using a unique mode of transportation.
He goes by the name Lee the Horselogger and he's traveling across the country, by way of horse and a cart--but it's nothing new for him.
He says he's been living on the road since 2006, looking for logging jobs with his three horses along the way.
On Tuesday he traveled on Highway 14 from the Lewiston area to St. Charles.
He's been across the country several times over the last decade, and he says he prefers this way of life.
"Just being out in the woods I enjoy and being with the horses," he said. "It's a way of life you just can't miss. It beats doing something I hate, buying stuff I don't need, so that children that I don't have can have an estate sale when I pass on. I'm here now, my needs are simple, I want enough to keep myself fed, the animals fed and cared for," said Lee.
Lee says he should be passing through Rochester in the next few days. His current goal is to make it to Wyoming.
