A local school is celebrating new renovations and a new partnership in the community.
The Kasson-Mantorville School District welcomed the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday to the district's newly renovated high school for a ribbon cutting and tour.
The school underwent remodeling last year, including a new cafeteria, a basketball court, and the auditorium.
There's also a fitness center open 24/7 to the public.
The school district is now joining the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce after it left the Zumbro Education District.
"We decided to join ourselves because we know that collaboration with the city of Rochester, with Rochester Area Chamber and all the things that are going on with DMC it's vital that Kasson-Mantorville also be a part of that," said Mark Matuska, District Superintendent.
A $39.8 million referendum funded the high school's renovations.
