For the first time the Iowa-Minnesota Pirate Festival hosted its two-day event in south central Minnesota.
Pirates, mermaids, magicians and more took over Morehouse Park and Chalet in Owatonna.
The event had a wide variety of performers, merchants and treasure hunts for kids.
This is the sixth year for the event but in the past, it's been held in Clear Lake, Iowa.
They moved it to Minnesota for a larger setting to accommodate for more people to attend.
"They just get into it. And I mean everyone can get into it," said David Lorton, the producer of the festival.
Today was the last day of the festival, but they hope to transform Morehouse Park and Chalet into a pirates dream again next year.
