Two Rochester high-schoolers have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. They will be singing at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week. Emma Archbold, a Junior at Lourdes High School, and Stella Schram, a Sophomore at Mayo High School are both part of Bella Voce, a young women's choir in Rochester. They were selected to represent Minnesota in "Let Freedom Sing" Girlchoir National Convention. Two high school girls from every state will make up the choir. The girls will be staying with host families and singing at various events during the six day choral festival, culminating with their final performance at the DNC. The girls were given about ten songs to learn before their arrival in Philadelphia.
