Sunday was a day filled with music, dancing, and more for those that attended the first annual Ronald McDonald benefit concert at the Willow Creek Golf Course.
Owners Wendell and Dianne Pittenger just recently added a new outdoor pavilion and have been putting it to good use.
This benefit began at 11:30 a.m and ended at 8 p.m. with four local bands to keep the night rolling.
Those performing included, Turkey River All Stars, Smashville - presenting Debbie Anthony, Jack Gillespie, and Sweet Revenge.
Wendell and Dianne Pittenger chose to give back to the those in need due to having twelve grandchildren of their own and an experience that hit close to home.
A family friend of the Pittenger's had a son who was diagnosed with leukemia. He has now beaten cancer and is continuing to enjoy life.
All proceeds from this event will be given to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester.
The Pittnegers's hope to continue this benefit with the following years to come.
