Winona State Warriors Football Begin Spring Practice
WINONA, Minn. (FOX 47) -
The College Football season begins in about five-months. But teams are beginning preparations around the country with spring practice including the Winona State Warriors.
Head Coach Tom Sawyer and his Warriors started spring workouts earlier this week. Friday felt a bit like late October at Maxwell Field when the team practiced.
The Warriors are coming off back-to-back losing seasons. Last year the warriors finished 5-and-6 but they did defeat top ranked Minnesota State 31-27. Spring practice is a new beginning as Sawyer starts to build his team in preparation for August Camp.
