Reward offered in Mankato shooting investigation

 MANKATO, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A reward is being offered for information in the shooting death of a Bellevue, Nebraska, man in Mankato.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Mankato Department of Public Safety announced a $10,000 reward Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the death of 22-year-old Poth Acouth.

Acouth was shot and killed just before 2 a.m. April 20 during an altercation in the parking lot of the Kato Ballroom.

Acouth had attended a Sudanese cultural event at the Kato Ballroom following a basketball tournament at Mankato State University prior to the shooting.
