NELSON, Wis. (FOX 47) -- A Wisconsin boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a semi-truck.
It happened about 4 p.m. Tuesday in Nelson, Wis., which is just across the river from Wabasha.
The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said the 9 year old was walking across Highway 35 when he was hit by the back part of the truck.
The driver kept going.
The boy suffered life-threatening injuries.
Buffalo County investigators aren't sure if the driver knew the boy was hit.
