MnDOT: No travel advised in southeast Minnesota


ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- MnDOT is advising no travel in southeastern Minnesota due blowing snow, icy patches and reduced visibility.

The advisory is for Rice, Steele, Dodge, Mower, Freeborn, Goodhue, Olmsted, Fillmore, Houston, Winona and Wabasha counties.

Driving conditions are currently listed as difficult in the 11-county southeastern Minnesota region. Interstate and state highways remain open at this hour, but MnDOT will continue to assess conditions.

Numerous vehicle crashes are being reported in the region. Motorists may encounter brief lane and road closures where crashes occur.
