MASON CITY, Iowa (FOX 47) -- Mason City Municipal Airport will lose its commercial air service starting Feb. 1.
Great Lakes Airlines announced services will be suspended at several airports including Mason City.
The company says this comes as a result of severe industry wide pilot shortage.
Great Lakes Airlines says it's trying to rebuild their staff and pilots in order to provide reliable service.
Any customers who have already booked flights will be given full refunds.
