ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Onlookers at the Gamehaven Scout Reservation were in for quite a treat today. Former Navy Seal Isaiah Maring dropped in at the annual Killen Shoot to support Rochester's local boy scouts. The fundraiser raises money to support the Boy scout camps and to keep the volunteer organization intact. The organization contributed nearly 130,000 volunteer hours in the last year.
"It's fun to be a part of something bigger than myself, you know I can come in, and I do the jump. I'm coming here to support this and to show you know my support for what their doing as they get older and grow, so it's very exciting for me to be able to be here," said Maring.
Maring will jump again next week, on September 11th at Kasson-Mantorville Middle School.
