ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Ping pong players took to the tables at the National Junior Disability Championships at the Rochester Regional Sports Center Monday.
More than 150 athletes from 28 states have gathered in Med City to compete in various events over the week.
Athlete Jayson Gorton has been competing in the games for the past 9 years.
He says his motivation to excel at the sport comes from within.
"I just keep on trying and trying for it. At school, people tell me no, but I just keep on going for it," said Gorton.
