Downtown Motel, Dec. 7ST. CHARLES, Minn. (FOX 47) -- The cause of a fire at a St. Charles motel in early December is now classified as undetermined.
State Fire Marshal Steve Wolf said the investigation into the fire at the Downtown Motel is complete.
Police say 47-year-old Vincent Edward Wright, of Avon, S.D., died in the fire Dec. 6. Three other motel guests escaped unharmed.
Five of the motel's 10 rooms were severely damaged or destroyed.
