
NEAR WANAMINGO, Minn. (FOX 47) - Icy roads are to blame for a serious accident on Highway-52 Monday morning.
The multi-vehicle happened around 9AM, just south of County road 9, near Hader and caused traffic to back-up on Highway-52.
A northbound car driven by Gary Bruins, 54, of Rochester, lost control and went through the median and struck a southbound car driven by Han Mingsheng, 49, of Freemont, CA.
Bruins and one passenger sustained minor injuries in the crash. Another passenger in Bruins' car sustained serious injuries.
The State Patrol says the Cannon Falls ambulance and North Memorial helicopter assisted on scene.
