ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - A memorial dedicated to some of Rochester's bravest has been vandalized-- for the second time since October.
Rochester police say sometime during the past month, someone spray painted graffiti on the firefighter memorial near Silver Lake.
The memorial was built in 2003 to honor two firefighters who lost their lives trying to save a young boy on Christmas Eve in 1953.
Several words were painted in this recent case.
In October, initials were put on the memorial and surrounding benches.
No word on who is responsible for the crime, Rochester police are continuing their investigation.
