
CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (KTTC) - A teenager was pulled from a lake after his car broke through the ice.
The incident happened on the west side of Clear Lake in northern Iowa around 9:45 pm Thursday.
That's where a 17-year old boy was driving his car on the ice when it broke through and became partially submerged.
Cerro Gordo county sheriffs deputies, Clear Lake police, Ventura fire and the Iowa DNR all responded to the scene.
Crews helped get the boy out of the vehicle without serious injury.
The sheriff's department says the car will be recovered Friday.
