Kenneth AdamsMASON CITY, Iowa (FOX 47) -- A Mason City man is in custody after a child died in the hospital.
Kenneth Adams, 29, was arrested Thursday for child endangerment resulting in death.
Mason City police responded to the 150 block of 12th Street N.W. for a report of a child who wasn't breathing.
The child was taken to the hospital but passed away.
An autopsy ruled the death as a homicide.
If convicted, Adams could face up to 50 years in prison.
