ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47)- Four people are in the hospital with minor injuries after their SUV goes through the doors of Costco.
Both the Rochester Police and Fire Departments were called out to Costco just before 11:00 AM Saturday morning to a report of an SUV crashing into the front doors. Nobody in the store or around the doors were injured.
Upon arrival, medical treatment was given to the four people inside the vehicle. While there was snow and ice around the parking lot, the cause of the crash could be related to a medical condition.
"Right now, indications are that someone might have had a medical problem inside the vehicle, and then might have stepped on the accelerator accidentally and then striking the building," explains Rochester Police Sgt. Jon Turk.
The four people in the vehicle were taken to Saint Marys with minor injuries. The crash is currently under investigation.
