ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Authorities have identified the person killed in a head-on crash near Silver Lake.
The Rochester Police Department said Iris Nemhauser, 71, of Rochester, crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle head-on while driving northbound on West Silver Lake Drive.
The accident happened at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver of the vehicle hit Carla Vacura, 50, of Dodge Center, was transported to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. She is listed in good condition.
Witnesses said both cars were only traveling about 25 miles an hour when they collided.
