ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- The condition of a man hurt in a street fight in Winona has improved from critical to fair.
The 21-year-old was taken to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester after the fight near Franklin and 9th Street Saturday night.
Police said he was pushed to the ground and then kicked in the head as some 50 to 60 people fought in the street. When police came, they all scattered but the 21-year-old man was badly hurt.
The 21-year-old has been in critical condition at Saint Marys since Sunday. But hospital officials say he has improved and is now in fair condition.
