Rochester police look for wanted man

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Rochester police are asking for the public's help in finding a wanted man who is considered a risk to the community.

Aaron Anderson did not show up for court on Thursday, according to Rochester police. He is facing 13 criminal charges, ranging from burglary and theft to assault and probation violations.

Anderson led law enforcement on a high speed chase in March. He was driving a pickup that had been stolen in Wabasha County. Police said Anderson was attempting to steal the trailer he was backed up to when authorities tried to stop him in Oronoco.

The pursuit went through three counties, ending in a field near Rochester. Police said Anderson also eluded officers in 2006 when they tried to arrest him on an outstanding warrant in West Concord.

Law enforcement last had contact with Anderson a few weeks ago.
