WINONA, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A Winona man will appear in court next month to face child pornography charges.
John David Seeger is facing six counts of possession of child pornography.
The investigation started in January 2010 after two tips from PayPal revealed a suspicious website linked to Seeger, according to a criminal complaint. Investigators found links to a number of websites that included pictures of nude children.
In August, authorities seized computer equipment from Seeger's Winona apartment that had more than 564 images and 5 video files.
The criminal complaint said Seeger told investigators when he is sent child pornography, he deletes it.
Seeger is due in Winona County District Court on Oct. 30.
