Fatal crash near Adams

ADAMS, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A middle school teacher has passed away after her car collided with a semi near Adams.

Ashton Debra May, 25, was a teacher at the middle school in Holmen, Wis.

She died Sunday after losing control at 660th Avenue and County Road 7 and then colliding with the semi at about 4 p.m. Saturday.

The driver of the semi truck was not injured.

Many of May's students are shaken by the loss of their teacher. Students and staff at Holmen Middle School are remembering May for her great dedication to teaching and sports.
