ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A Rochester student is reporting the first case of stranger danger for the school year.
A 12-year-old boy was walking home from school and talking with a friend across the street in the 2300 block of 16th Avenue NW Thursday.
He tells Rochester police a brown SUV drove between them and doubled back. A woman in the vehicle allegedly told the boy to get in her vehicle and help her find her kids. The student ran off.
He could only provide police a very vague description of the woman saying she was in her 20s or 30s and was wearing large sunglasses.
If you saw anything suspicious in this neighborhood or have witnessed a similar incident, please call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
