
ROCHESTER , Minn. (FOX 47) -- Two men have been arrested in connection to counterfeit $20 bills that were attempted to be passed at a Rochester McDonald's and a Kwik Trip store.
Police stopped two cars in southeast Rochester early Wednesday morning. Officers let one vehicle go, but arrested Ahmed Abukar, 27, of Minneapolis, and Ukasah Abulle, 25, of Rochester.
Rochester Police Capt. Brain Winters said everyone should be aware of the recent influx of counterfeit cash in the city.
