Roy Watson Jr., 90, passes away

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- One of Rochester's most prominent business leaders passed away Tuesday morning.

Roy Watson Jr. was a fixture in the downtown business community. He was president of the Kahler Corporation, like his father before him, supervising operations at the Kahler Grand Hotel and its various other enterprises.

The sports complex in northwest Rochester is named after Roy.

He passed away at Samaritan Bethany, where he has been residing with his wife Bev.

Roy Watson Jr. passed away at age 90.

Funeral arrangements with Ranfranz and Vine are pending.
