
BYRON, Minn. (FOX 47) -- An investigation is ongoing into a possible counterfeit money ring in southeast Minnesota.
Few details are available at this time but the most recent victim is the Byron Marketplace on the 5th. Someone using counterfeit $20 bills bought alcohol.
Investigators say they believe this incident is connected to others in southeastern Minnesota - like when someone passed counterfeit money at the Walmart North in Rochester.
