RED WING, Minn. (KTTC) -- A former American Idol Contestant was in Red Wing Wednesday.
Reed Grimm was a keynote at "Floats and Notes" at the Deer Crest Memory Care Facility to raise money for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's.
People were treated to a barbecue dinner, drank root beer floats and got live entertainment from Grimm and his family.
Grimm is a Minnesota native and was eliminated from this past season of American Idol.
On Wednesday night, he performed the song from his audition -- the theme song from family matters.
Grimm also shared his American Idol experiences with the crowd.
