Charles City man sentenced for sexual abuse

CHARLES CITY, Iowa (FOX 47) -- A Charles City man charged with sexual abuse has learned his punishment.

A judge sentenced Samuel Scott, 40, to 20 years in prison on Friday.

He pleaded guilty in June to two counts of sexual abuse and two counts of incest.

Authorities say the female victim was a minor when the alleged offenses began in 2008.
