Firefighters hold trench rescue drill

ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Some members of the Rochester Fire Department trained Friday for an emergency.

They simulated rescuing a victim trapped in a trench on 45th Street SE.

20 members of the fire department practiced assessing the dangers of the trench, approaching it safely, administering patient care and removing the victim safely.
