(FOX 47) -- The Zumbrota-Mazeppa School District confirms they are being sued in Federal Court over claims of student discrimination.
The complaint alleges Zumbrota-Mazeppa Public Schools violated the civil rights of three students.
Superintendent Tony Simons told the NewsCenter that the allegations of civil rights violations are not true and that insurance carriers for the Zumbrota-Mazeppa School District have retained two law firms to defend the case.
He said he could make no further comments on the claims.
