PINE ISLAND, Minn. (FOX 47) -- Several expensive, show-goats fall victim to a pack of dogs near Pine Island.
Several goats were wounded and one was killed. According to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, it happened sometime overnight Wednesday on the 12,000 block of 85th Avenue NW.
We're told the pack of dogs ganged up on the goats valued at about $400 a piece, killing one and injuring seven.
Two others had to be put down. The farmer says he won't know if the last four will recover for a couple more days. It's the second time this has happened in about a month.
He says he's now installed cameras to try find out what dogs are carrying out the attacks.
